This multi-award-winning spec home began as a true blank slate, giving Wheelhouse the opportunity to collaborate closely with the architectural team to shape every interior detail from the ground up. Working in concert with the builder and architects, Wheelhouse helped define everything from custom architectural features and cabinetry to finishes, fixtures, and material selections. The result is a home that balances thoughtful functionality with distinctive design, creating spaces that feel both aspirational and livable.

A recurring theme throughout the home is the thoughtful use of tile and texture to create moments of visual interest without overwhelming the architecture. The fireplace becomes a focal point through the use of elongated Italian brick tile while geometric relief surfaces, penny rounds, and richly veined natural, as well as manufactured, stone surfaces appear throughout the home in ways that feel connected, but never repetitive.

In the kitchen, book-matched walnut cabinetry is paired with soft sage-colored tile and natural light, creating a space that opens up to a sophisticated and inviting dining room. Custom-designed closets, built-ins, a stairway screen wall, and cabinetry continue the home's commitment to thoughtful functionality and carefully layered materials.
